The trek is of advanced level. Thus, some trekking experience is mandatory. The trail is almost 90 km long, which takes about ten days to finish. Starting from Yuksom and going all the way up to Bakkhim Point. 

The average cost for this trek is around 14,000 INR per person. It’s best to visit the place in Mid September to October. 

3. Mountain Biking

If you’re someone who has a thing for bikes, then you might want to take a bike ride in the mountains. You can explore every rough terrain of Sikkim on a motorcycle. If you have a group of friends around you, mountain biking is the perfect option to get the adrenaline rush. 

You can get the rental bike from Pradhan Nagar, Siliguri. The pickup time is 07:00 AM and the drop time is 10:00 PM. It’ll cost you around 1600 INR to rent a bike.

4. Wildlife Sanctuaries

4.1 Khangchendzonga National Park

4.2 Fambong Lho Sanctuary

The sanctuary covers an area of 5200 hectares and is at a 20 km distance from Gangtok, and you can see a variety of birds and butterflies along with a civet cat, red panda, and black bear. You can plan a trip from April to May for the best experience.

The timing is between 8 AM to 3 PM.
